DARKSKIES

After visiting Rathlin Island and finding the beauty of the isolated location alongside advice from the islanders I found the stargazing perspective of the island for tourism especially interesting as a unique selling point. In response I crafted a series of four artefact posters inspired by both the dark skies and the nature found on the island by representing visible constellations and nebulas as well as the mythology or imagery behind them. Each piece has a main figure and animal illustrated by me and accented with my own crafted word mark for the dark skies program.
